SUNY Polytechnic Summer Science Camp

What is SUNY Polytechnic Institute?

The SUNY Polytechnic Institute Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering's (CNSE) Smart System Technology & Commercialization Center of Excellence (STC) in photonics and microsystems is a vertically integrated "one-stop-shop" for smart systems' device development and process manufacturing, coupling CNSE's preeminence in nanoelectronics R&D with ITC's expertise in integrating computer chips with hundreds of mechanical devices. These capabilities are unmatched the world over, with regards to capacity, infrastructure and operational capabilities, and create immediate job and investment opportunities in all areas of advanced manufacturing, such as aerospace, defense, medical and energy industries.

STC offers the largest array of world-class MEMS-related solutions in the industry, all under one roof. Located outside Rochester, NY, the 130,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art STC facility includes over 30,000 square feet of certified cleanroom space with 150mm and 200mm wafer production, complemented by a dedicated 8,000-square-foot MEMS and optoelectronic packaging facility.
